The 'Atheist' Christian Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 15 Aug 2010 [08:00]
A legacy is what someone or something is remembered for or what they have left behind that is remembered, revered or has influenced current events and the present day. What we refuse to deal with in full obedience to the Commandments of God could impact our children.
The Most Dangerous Spirit of all Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 18 Jul 2010 [08:00]
Throughout the Bible we see his work of deception and temptation, holding the souls of people in spiritual darkness and bondage, imprisoned by countless types of strongholds [2 Cor 10:3-5].
Deadliest Spirits at Work on Earth - The Spirit of Fear Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 4 Jul 2010 [08:00]
Fear is like a cancer. It works against good physical health and eventually spiritual decay sets in, causing physical and emotional sickness to break out.
We call these conditions psychosomatic illnesses, or illnesses of the mind, but they are actually of the spiritual man out of control.
Deadliest Spirits at Work on Earth - The Spirit of Rebellion Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 27 Jun 2010 [08:00]
1 Sam 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being king.
Deadliest Spirits at Work on Earth - The Spirit of Idolatry 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 13 Jun 2010 [08:00]
Haters of God have replaced God and set their hearts on something else to love and be devoted to. Any substitution is disastrous, leading to spiritual and eternal suicide.
Deadliest Spirits at Work on Earth Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 6 Jun 2010 [18:00]
The whole world outside of the Kingdom of God is under the sway or influence of the devil and he uses this to mesmerize and captivate people in his 'spiders web' of deceit.
The world is not a spirit, but the devil uses the things in the world to blind the eyes of the people and steer them away from God the Father.
The Secrets to the Double Portion-of Purpose Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 6 Jun 2010 [08:00]
Pentecost certainly counts as one of the most significant events of world history. It was God's supernatural endowment that would impact every generation of the world from that historic day until now. Pentecost took the Church from the Source of Life, Jesus Christ, to Eternal Life in Christ and the Kingdom of God.
The Pentecost Phenomenon Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 9 May 2010 [08:00]
A Biblical phenomenon in New Testament times describes something extraordinary, unusual, something beyond the scientific mindset, something stunning and inspiring.
It can take you from the ordinary to the supernatural where you can live a blessed and prosperous lifestyle.
Prophetic Prayer for the Nation Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 18 Apr 2010 [08:00]
Understanding faith comes to light when the revelation of the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is fully realised. Once I have realised that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I have found the foundation for true faith.
The Power of The Blood of Jesus Christ Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 2 Apr 2010 [08:00]
The Lord will always answer prayers according to His will. It's the empowered New Testament,
Covenant with God ratified and established in the Blood of Christ.
His Blood is so very powerful, filled with resurrection power and life eternal.
Seeing and Living in the Realm of the Miraculous 5 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 28 Mar 2010 [08:00]
There is no greater power in existence than the POWER OF GOD. What we need to understand is that the Power of God is totally connected to the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Life and power of God cannot be separated from His Blood.
Seeing and Living in the Realm of the Miraculous 4 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 14 Mar 2010 [08:00]
Blessedness can be described in many ways, but always incorporates several dimensions. The Hebrew word for peace, "shalom" seems to be very fitting. Shalom means to be well, happy, healthy, prosperous, favoured, safe, nothing broken down, tranquillity, completeness, soundness, peace from war, wellness, perfect, undisturbed restfulness.
When our Lord Jesus Christ used the word blessed during the Sermon on the Mount, He meant all that the word incorporated. Why do many not experience the fullness that Jesus spoke of and yet He said it was possible for everyone and still is?
This leads to an enquiry. Why do many pray and yet it appears that there is no effect, and they continue living defeatist lifestyles? The very 'THING' that they are praying for, does not manifest and they receive no answers or solutions.
Seeing and Living in the Realm of the Miraculous 3 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 7 Mar 2010 [08:00]
The abundant life can only be fully experienced when we live our lives according to the Kingdom
principles. [A principle is simply the basic way in which something works.] When we act according
to the Kingdom principles, we will get Kingdom results.
We need to understand that we have to keep on doing the right things right and the fruit will
follow. In addition, as we persist in doing the right things right, our faith increases accordingly. Faith by itself is a major factor in obtaining answers to prayer. God responds to our
faith, not our doubts.
The Kingdom lifestyle is radically different from the lifestyle that the world has conditioned people to live in.
Seeing and Living in the Realm of the Miraculous 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 28 Feb 2010 [08:00]
Question: "Is this the life you are living?"
I am persuaded that it is only possible if one obediently surrenders to Kingdom-of-God-rule and its lifestyle principles.
[A principle is simply the basic way in which something works.] The power of obedience to Christ is able to transform your life from that moment of total surrender.
John 5:30 [AMP] "I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord - but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me."
The Kingdom of God has made every provision for all believers to live the abundant life and walk in protection and victory. Charles Spurgeon once used these words, "'Tis paradise, if Thou
(Christ) art here; if Thou (Christ) depart, 'tis hell."
The key to living the abundant life is clearly found in Christ and Kingdom-of-God-living. It is not a matter of just talking about it or expounding on how good the sermon was and then promptly forgetting because the worldly cares have "strangled the Word" as in the parable of the sower. It is going to take TOTAL SURRENDER AND DECISIVE CHANGE TO LIVE STRICTLY ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, CONTINUOUSLY OBEYING THE PROMPTINGS AND LEADING
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. It not just "feel good stuff"; it is obedience, putting into practice a code of Kingdom conduct that produces fruitful blessed results - "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done," every day and all the time.
Hearing from God [7] Responding to Your Call and Purpose Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 14 Feb 2010 [08:00]
A divinely purpose-driven life is a God-blessed life.
One person who responds to God's will can make an indescribable difference with the full backing of the Kingdom of God. God is looking for ONE genuine person, truly faithful and devoted to Him. The Father considers us and uses our life experiences to further and expand the Kingdom of God.
Every Christ-follower must make a personal decision to walk in total surrender to Christ, knowing that whatever may befall him is already taken care of in advance. Working along WITH the Father is a dual action and ensures His support.
Hearing from God [6] Following the Way of the Lord Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 31 Jan 2010 [08:00]
There is only one way to follow and that's God's way. It leads us to countless blessings. One
commitment can change our future and destiny!
Many wonder just how to hear the voice of the Lord. The problem is, however, that not everyone
knows how to respond or react correctly to the Lord. I hope to help you do so. Jesus said that His
sheep would know His voice, so let us find out how.
Hearing from God [5] Cause and Effect Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 24 Jan 2010 [08:00]
You and your current situation of life, good or bad, are a product of all the decisions you
have made along the road of life. Our choices have brought us to where we are right now.
Good and wise choices result in blessed circumstances. Bad decisions result in stacked problems like dominoes, ready to come tumbling down.
Without wisdom people make wrong decisions not considering the final outcome.
Hearing from God [4] Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 17 Jan 2010 [08:00]
In each nation; in each generation; in each circumstance; there has been someone willing to
respond to God when the Babylonian system (this world system) arises and wants to take control of
the lives and possessions of God's children. It reminds us of the following verse: John 10:10 [NLT] The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
Hearing from God [3] Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 10 Jan 2010 [18:00]
Daniel 10:1-3 [NLT] In the third year of the reign of King Cyrus of Persia, Daniel (also known as Belteshazzar) had another vision. He understood that the vision concerned events certain to happen in the future - times of war and great hardship. 2When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. 3All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods.
Hearing from God [2] Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 10 Jan 2010 [08:00]

Daniel 1:11-12 [NLT] Daniel spoke with the attendant who had been appointed by the chief of staff to look after Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. 12"Please test us for ten days on a diet of vegetables and water," Daniel said.
Hearing from God [1] Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 3 Jan 2010 [08:00]
God has chosen this time to take us into a new phase; new dimension and a higher spiritual level
with Him. Hidden in today's Bible text are practical keys for those who are alert, willing and ready to move with God and experience successful spiritual guidance, discovering the Father's unshakeable Kingdom lifestyle.
The Beginning of New Things Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 31 Dec 2009 [22:30]
I have consistently pointed to the fact that we, in the totality of our lives exist interactively in four dimensions namely, the spiritual, physical (our bodies), material and social realms. To this we can also add the soulish dimension of intellect, will and emotions.
If we are to be blessed and prosper in all things, we are to meet the conditions and principle laws of the Kingdom of God. There are values and principles that act like "guardians" of the glory of God. Disobedience to them can most certainly block us off from living the truly abundant life, after all, they have been put there by the King of the Kingdom Himself, Christ the Lord.
The one thing needed to be really blessed is the Shekinah Glory of God, or in other words, God's
presence dwelling in, and upon all of our lives. It's all about being fully surrendered to God's
Kingdom lifestyle which produces the abundant life that the KING spoke about.
How to Turn Defeat into Victory Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 29 Nov 2009 [08:00]
The prayers in the Book of Revelation are absolutely pivotal to the future of this world. These prayers activate the will of God and will not stop until it has been fully concluded. They set
a process in motion and we see God moving in amazing ways as He changes the course of
history - past, present and future.
Obtaining Boldness Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 22 Nov 2009 [08:00]
What is strikingly obvious in the above passage of Scripture is the circumstances in Acts 4 that
preceded this situation and the apostles' resultant behaviour in the face of danger. Their future in
this world was threatened and they literally lived at danger's door. Their behaviour left an example of
fruitful ministry for all to follow.
Every Christ-follower has full opportunity of direct ACCESS to the Father. We must desire with all our hearts to enter into His indescribable presence so that we can be RADICALLY EMPOWERED with His abilities to be powerful witnesses for Him.
Authority and Executive Authority Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 1 Nov 2009 [08:00]
Colossians 1:13-14 [NKJV] He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
The word "delivered" in Greek is "rhoumai", meaning "to rush and to draw out for oneself or to
rescue, to snatch from danger that is severe and acute, to guard, protect, ward off and deliver".
Prayer Warriors of God Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 25 Oct 2009 [08:00]
The human body is restricted to the dimension of the five physical senses and, without the help of the Holy Spirit, has no awareness of the spiritual dimension that surrounds it. Demons, like unwanted
flies, are everywhere and are more dangerous in the spirit realm than the Black Mamba (the world's
most poisonous snake) is in the natural arena. Demons operate in the unseen dimension and work in a
co-ordinated effort to torment humans.
Our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, often confronted and exposed demons, casting them out of people.
Those Who Endure Forver Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 18 Oct 2009 [08:00]
The ultimate Christian could be described as a loyal, faithful, self-disciplined and patient doer
of the Word - the morally pure, holy and persevering one with resilience and staying power - the consistent, brave in faith, Spirit-filled, Spirit-guided and positive one, always filled with
hope for tomorrow - the crucified Christ-follower that is walking in love. These are the ones
that Psalm 12:1 tells us that are hard to find.
Worship in Spirit and Truth 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 11 Oct 2009 [08:00]
John 4:21-26 [NKJV] Jesus replied, "Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will
no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming - indeed it's here now - when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth." The woman said, "I know the Messiah is coming - the
one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." Then Jesus told her,
"I AM the Messiah!"
Worship in Spirit and Truth 1 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 4 Oct 2009 [08:00]
Nothing should be more desirable than an audience with the true and living God. No experience is deeper, more life changing, profound and glorious than KOINONEA (personal, intimate, joint sharing or fellowship) with the Father.
Nations have attached themselves to things they're about to lose. But those who attach themselves to the Lord are like mount Zion which cannot be moved, but endures forever. [Psalm 125:1]
Prayer Transformation - The Throne Room of God Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 20 Sep 2009 [10:00]
Psalm 141:2 [NKJV] Let my prayer be set before You as incense,
The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Words come short when I want to express to all Christ-followers, the indescribable experience you can have when you have successfully learned to push on into the 'secret place' of the MOST HIGH and have KOINONEA (fellowship) with the Heavenly Father.
Surrendered saints can access the Throne Room of the Father at any time or place. The Father progressively gives revelation and knowledge, showing us how to find the way into the Most Holy place.
Prayer Transformation - Saving Faith That Works Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 13 Sep 2009 [08:00]
Faith is very important to us. We've got to get it right and do it right. By faith we were saved and our faith in Jesus Christ our Saviour is in a sense our "entry ticket" to heaven itself. Faith delivers us from hell and gives us the victory against the attacks of the devil. [Ephesians 2:9]
Prayer Transformation - The Way into the Holy of Holies 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 8 Sep 2009 [19:00]
Ephesians 5:22-32. The overall theme is intimacy with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ministered during the Transformation Leadership Conference, Sept 2009.
Prayer Transformation - The Way into the Holy of Holies 1 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 7 Sep 2009 [19:00]
Ephesians 5:22-32. The overall theme is intimacy with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Ministered during the Transformation Leadership Conference, Sept 2009.
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 8 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 6 Sep 2009 [08:00]
1 Tim 1:18-19 [NKJV] This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.
Faith is described as the good warfare. Faith's power is more powerful than the forces that govern the universe. Faith created the universe and it should therefore be considered GOOD and POWERFUL enough to move mountains and bring down the Goliaths. Faith is God's creative tool with which
He works.
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 7 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 30 Aug 2009 [08:00]
Take a moment to try and grasp just how powerful the Body of Christ on earth actually IS.
1 John 4:4 [AMP] Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
There is enough spiritual "atomic power" in that one verse to keep you going for the rest of your life. This is the apex of power realisation: "God actually dwells in you."
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 6 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 23 Aug 2009 [08:00]
Every person on earth has received the measure of faith or else those who believed wouldn't have
received salvation without it. We need to start with, saving faith to become citizens of the Kingdom
of God. The Lord made this possible for one and all. God came to save the world and not just some.
Repenting of our sins and believing in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and acknowledging His sacrifice
on the cross is what gets us saved. This levels the playing field, for God has no favourites. It is not
about who we are, but because of who He is. - He so loved the world that He gave and sacrificed His
only begotten SON for us.
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 5 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 16 Aug 2009 [08:00]
In my opinion, the most difficult thing to overcome is the "mind games" that the devil so often plays
on us. To worsen matters, we all have sin natures resulting from the fall of man, and the devil is in
control of the world system (2 Corinthians 4:4; Luke 4:5-6).
Faith that is based on "soulish' thoughts (involving the intellect, will and emotions) will fail dismally. I call this "head faith" and it has no scriptural foundation. Hebrews 10:38 [NKJV] "Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no
pleasure in him."
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 4 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 2 Aug 2009 [08:00]
When we look at faith, we immediately have to go back to the first man who practiced faith, namely
Abraham.
Rom 4:11-12 [NKJV] The father of all those who believe... 12those who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had...
Gal 3:29 [NKJV] And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Gal 3:7 [NKJV] Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 3 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 26 Jul 2009 [10:00]
At the "starting blocks" of our faith, we must take total ownership of the promises of God.
Secondly, we need to realise that Satan, the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4), will do everything in his power to keep you and me from taking possession of our promised inheritance.
An example of Satan's operations is recorded in the case of Daniel (Dan 10:2). The prophet fasted for 21 days before he saw the breakthrough. Take special note of the words of the angel that appeared to him: Dan 10:12-13 [NKJV] Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia."
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 19 Jul 2009 [08:00]
Living life BEYOND the Word is a living time bomb. Many believers are in this predicament and are suffering because of it. They are living in a false sense of security, while the time bomb is ticking away. It is only God's patience that keeps them from immanent disaster, giving them time to turn
from their ignorance, but the season will come to an end and then...
When Troubles Seem Out of Control and Victory Lost 1 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 5 Jul 2009 [08:00]
Eph 6:10-18 [NLT] A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11Put on all of God's armour so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against
mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13Therefore, put on every
piece of God's armour so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armour of God's
righteousness. 15For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers
everywhere.
Many people seem to be in a permanent state of struggle and only a few really appear able to deal with life's problems. I hope to help you come out of what I call "the starting blocks of problem solving".
Overcoming Spiritual Dullness Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 21 Jun 2009 [10:00]
It is in the nature of every man and woman to improve themselves and their circumstances but there
is a very apparent lack of enthusiasm to direct this energy toward seeking spiritual excellence. We
want the promises, but we don't want to make the commitment to serve the Lord without reservation.
Mankind is more prone to direct their energy levels at the things that can be seen and ignore the SOURCE from where their actual energy comes. God gave us energy to serve Him first above all else.
By directing our faith and energy towards the promises of God, and seeking to walk in spiritual excellence, God will open our spiritual eyes and we will SEE the Kingdom of God and experience His blessings in everything we do.
The Making of a True Disciple of Jesus Christ 2 Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 14 Jun 2009 [08:00]
True disciples are fruit bearers. No fruit, no disciple. The Word of God clearly defines this:
Matt 7:16-20 [NKJV] "You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn
bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them."
The Making of a True Disciple of Jesus Christ Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 7 Jun 2009 [08:00]
Many Christians have believed that to be born-again, baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit is the sum total of the Christian experience. "Game, Set and Match!" ("I've arrived now and I can live and do just what I like and want to.") This way of thinking has resulted in countless people backsliding and falling away from the grace of God. Many "once-upon-a-time" believers may even be in hell - forever, only the Lord knows.
Feast of Pentecost 2009 [2] Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 31 May 2009 [08:00]
An unknown saint long ago said, "Two-thirds of the praying we do, is for that which would give us the greatest possible pleasure to receive. It is a sort of spiritual self-indulgence in which we engage, and as a consequence is the exact opposite of self-discipline. God knows all this, and keeps His children asking. In process of time - His time - our petitions take on another aspect, and we, another spiritual approach. God keeps us praying, until in His wisdom, He deigns to answer. And no matter how long it may be before He speaks, it is, even then, far earlier than we have a right to expect or hope to deserve."
The theme is Prayer Fire.
Prayer and Fervency Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 3 May 2009 [08:00]
James 5:16-17 [NKJV]
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The
effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
One fact that can never change: It is the fervent, effective, passionate, heartfelt, serious, earnest, sincere prayer that prevails over every type of demonic onslaught and unleashes the power of the Spirit of God against satan and every demonic attack we can imagine.
It is such prayers that bring in the very presence of God and destroys the yoke of the enemy. Prayer must be a mixture of fervency, forcefulness, focused energy, faith, hope and driven by passionate love for God as well as our fellow man.
Right now with the world in crisis, it's time to run to God with holy hands lifted high. [1 Tim
2:8]
The theme is Prayer Fire from now until Pentecost.
Finding God in my Life (The place of the spark) Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 19 Apr 2009 [08:00]
"No extensive learning, no purity of diction, no width of mental outlook, no flowers of fine speech, no grace of person, can make up for lack of fire. Prayer ascends by fire. Fire gives prayer access as well as wings, acceptance as well as energy. There is no incense without fire - and no prayer without it."
"Prayer gives us fuller, sweeter and richer revelations of God. To those who pray, the Bible becomes a new Bible and Christ a new Saviour by the light and the revelation of the inner chamber of prayer."
- E.M. Bounds (1835-1913) on Prayer
The theme is Prayer Fire from now until Pentecost.
When we make God the "object" and focus of our desire, and our trust is in Him, we can then pray with fire and focus on the things at hand.
Good Friday Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 10 Apr 2009 [08:00]
Matt 10:39 [AMP] Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
1 Cor 2:13-3:3 [NKJV] These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which
the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
The Disciplined Prayer-Life of Jesus Christ Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 22 Mar 2009 [08:00]
Matt 10:38-39 [AMP] And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me,
conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me. Whoever
finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
This powerful passage of Scripture gives us a clear picture of the keys to heaven's treasure. So few words with such mighty impact, if we choose to follow the example of the King of kings.
Incorporating the disciplines of Christ into our lives will result in a most powerful life on earth.
Christlikeness is power. It surpasses mere human life.
The Higher Life - Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Steps to God's Support Pastor Harold F. Weitsz 15 Mar 2009 [08:00]
Pope Gregory the Great [A.D. 546-604], the last of the four original "doctorates", because of his scholarly
distinction, described what he called the "Seven Deadly Sins", recognised throughout history for their damning and poisonous effect upon the souls of mankind. They are:
Pride (An excessive high opinion of oneself, arrogance, egotism, a puffed-up self-important attitude shown by somebody who believes, often unjustifiably, that he or she is better than others). Prov 6:17 [AMP] A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others].
Envy (The resentful or unhappy feeling of wanting somebody else's success, good fortune, qualities, or possessions, jealousy) [Compare Gal 5:19-21].
Anger (Rage, fury, a strong feeling of grievance and displeasure, uncontrolled temper, annoyance, hostility) [Coupled with hatred this becomes murder - 1 John 3:15].
